Our Story

PAMECO Hawaii is an independently registered, Hawaii-based company founded in 2024, built on the legacy and industry expertise of Guam’s Pacific Metal Works Corporation (PAMECO). While operating as a separate entity, PAMECO Hawaii is a natural extension of the Guam operation, carrying forward the same standards and commitment to excellence.

Guam PAMECO was founded by President JM Park, who brings over 30 years of experience in aluminum and metal works across the Mariana Islands and the Philippines. As of today, Guam PAMECO is the only provider on the island certified for missile impact and bomb blast materials, with FGIA/AAMA certification since 2018. It proudly serves as the trusted supplier for residential, commercial, and government projects throughout Guam.

With a deep understanding of the Pacific region’s unique construction needs, PAMECO identified Hawaii as a key location where quality materials and reliable logistics could make a real impact. The decision to establish a presence in the Islands was both strategic and service-driven—aimed at supporting builders across the state with the same dependable products and performance PAMECO is known for. PAMECO Hawaii officially opened its doors in Honolulu in November 2024 and has been proudly serving the local community.

Shirley is a business leader with a strong foundation in human resources management, labor law, and manufacturing operations, bringing over a decade of experience in building and optimizing teams, streamlining business functions, and driving organizational success.

With a background in HR management at companies such as General Electric and SpaceX, she developed deep expertise in workforce strategy and global business operations—skills she now applies to running a small business in the aluminum and glazing industry.

Since joining her family’s business, Shirley has leveraged her experience to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen financial oversight, and build a high-performing team. Shirley is multilingual and has lived and worked in the US, UK, Italy, France, and Guam. She is a mom to 2 kids and their French bulldog, Uno, and enjoys playing the piano and tennis in her free time.

Executive General Manager

Dimitri Pepe

A dynamic and results-driven leader with over a decade of global experience in operations and business management across manufacturing, aerospace, and construction industries. As Co-President and Executive General Manager of PAMECO, Dimitri specializes in driving operational excellence, streamlining supply chain processes, and implementing strategic growth initiatives.

Previously, he held leadership roles at Boeing where he led large teams, optimized production workflows, and implemented data-driven solutions that improved efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced quality. Dimitri’s expertise spans business strategy, financial management, supply chain optimization, quality and compliance.

With a strong background in engineering and certifications in operations management, leadership, and project management, he excels at leading cross-functional teams, negotiating contracts, and aligning business objectives with workforce success. Passionate about fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement, Dimitri is trusted to drive sustainable growth and operational success. You can find Dimitri spending time with his family on the beach or at the park playing soccer.

Senior Vice President

Jeong Du (JD) Lee

With over 25 years of experience in construction, power plant operations, and project management, JD brings a wealth of expertise to PAMECO as Vice President. His career spans large-scale government, military, and commercial projects across Guam, South Korea, Indonesia, and the United States.

JD has successfully managed the construction and commissioning of multiple power plants, overseeing engineering, procurement, and quality control processes. His leadership in operations and maintenance has optimized plant efficiency, reduced operational losses, and ensured compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

At PAMECO, JD is instrumental in developing business strategies, managing high-profile projects, and driving company growth and sales in the aluminum and glazing industry. His technical knowledge, strategic vision, leadership qualities, and hands-on approach make him key in delivering high-quality solutions for military, government, and commercial clients. JD is dad to 2 boys, an avid reader, and likes to spend his free time taking long walks around his neighborhood.
